What Makes Weber Smokers So Great?

A Weber smoker is a great beginner’s BBQ smoker – based on the “water smoker” style smoker concept.

One of the things I find most people new to using BBQ Smokers find useful about these smokers is that the meat can be prepared with your favorite BBQ rub, put into the smoker, and left unattended until it’s time to chow down.

In fact, under normal operating conditions, Weber BBQ Smokers can run successfully for up to seven hours without much tending at all.

Have Fun with Flavor: Use Different Wood for Different Smoked BBQ Taste

You can use pretty much any wood fuel source you like when loading up your Weber smoker.  Popular choices are mesquite, oak or hickory wood depending on the taste and budget of the cook. BUT… don’t be afraid to go local.  Fruit woods have become very popular for creating delightfully flavorful smoked meats – woods like orange, lemon, grapefruit, peach, and even persimmon.

Treat Your Smokey Mountain BBQ Smoker Well and It’ll Return the Favor

Weber’s Smokey Mountain BBQ Smokers are built to last.  Made simply, they consist of a bowl, lid and water pan made from high quality porcelain. There’s really very little to “break down” on a Weber smoker.

Beginners will enjoy the BBQ Smoker cookbook Weber provides, which includes some good ideas for getting your “smoked meat on.”

Oh, and if you need help with your Smokey Mountain Cooker, Weber’s customer service is pretty decent.  So, you’ll be sure to get the assistance you need.
