Plant City Pig Jam
The results, are in – well – have been in now for a week or more – for the 2009 Plant City Pig Jam, a KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition that took place back on November 21st.
Some of the local favorite BBQ cook teams were there, including Swamp Boys BBQ, Poppell Insurance BBQ Team, Team Unknown, Whiskey Bent BBQ, and the BGE Pit Crew – some new friends I made at the event. Pellet Envy, Smokin’ Triggers, and Jack’s Old South made the trip as well, the latter two will of course be featured on the upcoming TLC BBQ Pitmasters series starting tomorrow – December 3rd.
As usual, the final results and awards ceremony for the Backyard and Pro divisions proved exciting and surprising. Here are the top 10 finishers for Backyard and Pro.
