February 19-20, 2001 – For those of you in the Tallahassee, Florida area looking for some kickin’ BBQ, check out the Southeast Regional Pigfest sponsored by the Capital Area Community Action Agency, Inc.

The Southeast Regional Pigfest provides participants the chance to enter a Florida BBQ Association sanctioned Cookoff ($8,000 in cash prizes) on Saturday with day-long Music Festival featuring award winning Legends of Southern Rock (formerly Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels, Bret Michaels bands and the Winters Brothers).

Sunday features Battle of the Bands with $2,500 in cash prizes, + 10 hours of studio time with a 5-song CD being produced for top winner, PIGFEST CARFEST Car and Bike Show, Arts and Crafts Market , Kidz Zone, and fantastic Vendors on both days.
