Good morning, Sweden!  Well, Sweden via Winter Haven, FL.   I was treated to this lovely morning breakfast meal by my lovely girlfriend, lover, giver of joy and all around amazing woman.  Freshly chopped dill from one  our friends’ herb gardens accented the smoked salmon and onion-chive cream cheese like you wouldn’t believe!  And yes, fresh makes all the difference when it comes to herbs.

I really liked the Wasa crisp bread she used, too.  For those of you not familiar with Swedish crisp bread, it’s pretty tasty stuff.  As a rye bread fan, I love the blast of rye flavor you get from it.  The bread is also a nice platform for the salmon, as it doesn’t compete with it as a bagel or other heavier or more leavened bread might.
