I had the pleasure of attending Rub Bagby’s Swamp Boys Q School last November and I’ll tell you that whether you’re brand spankin’ new to competition BBQ or you’ve been around the “walk” a few times – there’s no better way to kick off 2012 than to get yourself a seat at the February 10-11, 2012 Swamp Boys Q School! The spot for this class is perfect – right where the Annual Winter Haven Smoke on the Water BBQ Competition is held off of Havendale Blvd. in Winter Haven, FL.
We’ve referenced the awesomeness that is Swamp Boys BBQ competition fame in previous posts. Just let me tell you that when you attend this BBQ cook class, your eyes will be opened to some of the coolest and productive tips and techniques ever to be applied to a BBQ Smoker.

This class was awesome! You can see a video of what we experienced via the link below. I am still amazed at the level of Competition BBQ Know How, Tips, Tricks, and Techniques dropped on us all by the BBQ Master himself, Rub Bagby. Seriously, folks. If you cook competition BBQ or you are thinking about competition BBQ, if you’re stuck in a stall, on a plateau, and just aren’t getting calls or awards like you’d hoped when you started… then you need to take this class!

Hey folks – just an update. Rob “Rub” Bagby – one of the best in BBQ (here in FL and nationally) – is holding a Thanksgiving Day Q School this year! I missed the last of his Live Oak, FL Swamp Boys Q School events, so I am happy to see this one come ’round. It’s real close by – over in Clermont, FL – so I really don’t have an excuse for missing this one!

Application for the November 2011 Q School Class
This class will be held at Clerbrook RV Resort located in Clermont FL, convenient to the FL Turnpike. Avoid all of the hustle and bustle of “Black Friday” and come spend some quality time under the oak trees perfecting America’s original cuisine. We’ll start at 1:00pm on Friday and wrap up around 2:00 – 2:30pm on Saturday.
Pricing / Cost Break Out
Cost: $500 per person Spouses: $300 (complete separate form)
You can reserve a spot with a $50 non-refundable deposit. Balance must be paid in full by 11/16/11. Note: There are a few spots left, and “Rub” will hold one for you if you get in touch with him ASAP!
