BBQ for Women… and Football, Too!

A whole lot of folks seem to see BBQ and Football as the domain of men. But even though men do appear to dominate these two arenas (namely – the backyard and the couch), there are a whole heck of a lot of women who actually enjoy the both firing up the Barbecue and tuning in for the big game.

Now, I”m not talking about the stalwart woman in your life who tolerates becoming a “football widow” or puts up with your desire to “smoke yer meat” out in your Bradley electric smoker. I’m talking about the fine women of this good country of ours who know the X’s and O’s of football better than most high school coaches and can cook up a brisket that will give Myron Mixon a run for his money!

Guys, if you have such a woman in your life, cherish her. Let her hold the remote. Hell, let her sit in Lazy Boy for gosh sakes. ’Cause let’s face it… there’s something that beats watching football with a bunch of smelly guys, a platter of pulled pork and backyard smoked wings, and a few of your favorite adult beverages – and that’s adding your sweet lady to the mix.
