BBQ Smoker Round Up
Been a while since I put up a best of list of some of my favorite food and BBQ blogger posts. Let’s see what’s cookin’ in BBQ Smoker land this morning, shall we?
Pizzapalooza from No Excuses BBQ
Paul Haight over at No Excuses BBQ is always good for something different on the grill, and though many of you have grilled pizza, I’m always surprised at how many of my friends have not.
What you see in this Pizzapalooza post will open your eyes to a few awesome ways to do up Pizza on your grill for sure! I’m especially loving the BBQ Pizza Paul whipped up using pulled pork, pineapple, and cashew pizza with Big Butz Original for sauce, mozzarella for cheese, and TJ’s garlic-herb dough. (The image above takes you to Paul’s post.)
Capicola Ham, Goat Cheese and Grilled Vegetable Summer Sandwiches
Robyn Medlin Lindars over at the Grill Grrrl Blog is always working up something fresh and delicious from the grill. These sandwiches really represent what I love most about her posts. Awesome photography, killer presentation, and flavor profiles that are out of this world.
Perfect for a picnic on land… or, as in this case with Robyn on the water – these sandwiches combine the flavor and char of grilled veggies, spicy capicola ham, rich goat cheese, arugula and fresh herbs for a match made in boating/picnic sandwich heaven. Served on ciabatta bread, I can think of no tastier way to hit the waves! (Click the image to read her full post!)
Scotch Oysters a la Live Fire
Curt McAdams over at the Live Fire blog put up a great Scotch Oysters post the other day. Whiskey, bleu cheese on grilled oysters? Yes, please? Like Curt’s wife, Justine is not a huge oyster fan. I may have to do these up at home soon, as I’m guaranteed to have them all to myself!
As always, Curt’s awesome photos really add to the quality of this post!
